For example, Honda sets requirements through its certified supplier solutions. This is why we’ve taken the steps to remain involved and current with the latest standards. In fact, the Honda Approved Vendors list includes Radley’s iCARaS™ EDI solution as a Honda certified supplier solution.
Honda requires the use of a certified solution from an approved software vendor. Also, they require their suppliers to go through a certification process. Receiving Honda’s certification is a big achievement for companies in the industry.
If using an uncertified solution, the supplier must go through a more extensive certification process. At which point the supplier is considered hybrid. But by using a certified solution, Radley customers have a quick and simple certification process.
The experienced Honda EDI team actually visits each software company seeking certification. They review both the technology and the services and support provided by the vendor. Honda reviewed Radley’s capabilities for label printing, shipping documents and reporting.
Over the years, our reputation as experts within the industry has strengthened. Honda continues to seek our input in testing changes to functionality and new requirements. Industry Involvement
As a leader in the industry, Radley is an active member of two main industry organizations. Our involvement in Materials Management Operations Guidelines/Logistics Evaluation (MMOG/LE) and Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) keeps us on the forefront of changes within the automotive world.
MMOG helps establish standards for evaluating supply chain processes within the automotive industry. Logistics organizations and suppliers receive evaluations of ‘A’, ‘B’ or ‘C’ ratings. These rating relate to the company’s streamlining of operations. A higher rating equates to more successful reduction of costs, waste and workloads.
Besides serving on the MMOG committee, Radley has been a long time member of the Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG). Radley helps with updates to the future versions of the logistics evaluation.
